1956 Jaguar XK 140 SE
Due to the enormous success of its predecessor, the Jaguar engineers took over the chassis of the Jaguar XK 140 SE almost unchanged. The 3.4l six-cylinder engine has an output of 190 BHP and a top speed of 200 km/h. The beautifully curved fenders and the split windshield were also preserved.
Equipped with the coveted special equipment “Overdrive”, a hydraulically controlled so-called “remote gear” attached to the 4-speed manual transmission, which functions similarly to a 5th gear, this outstanding Jaguar XK 140 SE left the factory on 04/11/1956. The rotation speed of the motor could thus be reduced at higher speeds. Engine protection, lower consumption and noise reduction were the effects of this invention.
A frame-off restoration was carried out on this magnificent and eye-catching Jaguar – the vehicles are completely dismantled and all body parts and interior elements are overhauled and put in good condition.
